26 years later, man booked for 'owning' 4 bullets let off

Mohd Salauddin, 62, who had been fighting a case in court for the past 26 years, is a relieved man now after the court recently exonerated him for “lack of evidence”. This small farmer, having just over 10 bighas of land, is a resident of a village in Shamli and was 36 when the Muzaffarnagar police booked him under the Arms Act for allegedly possessing four 12 bore bullets in 1995.
