Soldier from MP martyred in Shopian encounter on birthday

Karnveer Singh, a 26-year-old soldier from Madhya Pradesh's Satna district, was martyred in a gunfight with terrorists in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday morning. It was his birthday, according to the Hindu calendar.
