Petrol, diesel now cost 30% more than jet fuel

Petrol and diesel prices soared to new record highs after rates were hiked again on Sunday by 35 paise a litre. Interestingly, the auto fuels now cost a third more than the rate at which ATF is sold to airlines.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ruled that apprehending armed militants qualifies as an "encounter" for reservation benefits for police personnel's children.
