Revolt or riot? BJP, Cong fight over Malabar rebellion

Amid debate over whether the Malabar rebellion was a revolt against the British or a communal riot, Congress and BJP on Monday sparred on the issue with the former accusing the saffron party of "adopting a divide and rule policy of British colonialists".
