TN wants resumption of Jaya treatment details inquiry

Tamil Nadu has requested the Supreme Court to order resumption of inquiry by Justice (retired) A Arumughaswamy Commission into the correctness, adequacy and inadequacies of treatment given to former chief minister Jayalalithaa, who died on December 5, 2016, after 75 days of treatment at Apollo Hospital in Chennai.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
