Patna HC acquits man on death row, says cops didn’t visit crime spot

The Patna high court has acquitted a person, who was sentenced to death for allegedly raping and killing a 16-year-old girl under Barhara police station area in Bhojpur district. The court also acquitted two others, who were awarded life imprisonment in the same case. The final hearing on their appeal took place on Friday and detailed judgement was uploaded on Saturday evening.

HC: Treat arrest, even without exchange of fire, as encounter
